Women's Champions League top scorers: Malard edges ahead of Geyse, Pajor, Bonmatí, Lacasse and Kerr – UEFA.com

Ewa Pajor leads the UEFA Women’s Champions League Top Scorer race with six goals, two ahead of Melvine Malard, Geyse, Aitana Bonmatí, Cloé Lacasse and Sam Kerr.
Wolfsburg forward Ewa Pajor leads the UEFA Women’s Champions League Top Scorer race with six goals from four games.
On Wednesday of Matchday 4, Lyon’s Melvine Malard struck twice to join a host of players including Pajor on four, Malard moving to the top on assists. However Pajor was on target twice the following night against Roma to boost her hopes of being the second straight Wolfsburg player to lead the rankings after the group stage, Tabea Wassmuth having done so in the inaugural season a year ago.
Another of the players who, like Malard, made it to four on Matchday 4, Benfica’s Cloé Lacasse, also got two in qualifying, and her tally of six for the whole season has matched that of Pajor and Twente’s Fenna Kalma, whose side did not reach the group stage.
We look at the contest to succeed the injured Alexia Putellas at the top of the charts this season, with the race also on to match or surpass Wassmuth’s mark of eight in the 2021/22 group stage.
