Mohammed Kudus wants to leave Ajax in January amid interest from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Athletic.
The Athletic have reported that ‘Kudus has a firm desire’ to leave Ajax in the January transfer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who starred for Ghana at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, ‘wants to establish whether his Amsterdam-based club are open to a transfer and what kind of fee it might take to sign him’.
Kudus, on the radar of Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham, does not want to play as a false nine that he is being used in at Ajax at the moment and wants to operate in midfield, according to the report.
On November 22, Sports World Ghana reported interest from Liverpool in Kudus, described as “outrageous” by former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport in September 2022.
Bild reported in October that Tottenham are challenging Everton and Borussia Dortmund for Kudus.
90min claimed on November 29 that Arsenal and Newcastle have made contact in regard to securing the services of Kudus.
Mohammed Kudus has scored five goals in five Eredivisie starts for Ajax this season.
The 22-year-old has also scored four goals and given two assists in five UEFA Champions League starts this campaign.
