I’ll apologize to everyone on the East coast in advance, as the three latest games on Monday’s slate are where I have my favorite plays, with my favorite coming in the Dallas Mavericks-Oklahoma City Thunder matchup.
Let’s dive into the picks and keep this heater going!
I was on this Anfernee Simons prop last Thursday and it hit, and I’m coming back with the line shifting to +130 on the OVER tonight.
Simons has cleared 4.5 assists in eight of his last 11 games, picking up four assists in two of the games that he went under. Simons is averaging 4.4 assists per game on the season, and this is actually a favorable matchup for him.
The Minnesota Timberwolves held Simons to just one assist in his last game, but they are allowing 26.3 assists per game this season, 27th in the NBA. Simons went for 31 points in his last game, but if he doesn’t have a crazy scoring night, I think this line is very favorable given the odds.
The Celtics had been on a crazy win streak against Western Conference teams before losing to Golden State, and I think they’ll pick that back up tonight.
The Warriors win also snaps the Celtics 14-game win streak (regular season obviously) against the Western Conference. Last loss was March 13th to Luka and the Mavs on Kevin Garnett day in Boston.

The Clippers haven’t really found their footing this season, mainly because Kawhi Leonard and Paul George have missed so many games.
The team is 28th in offensive rating this season, which is a major problem when you’re facing the No. 1 offense in the NBA. The Celtics are 17-10 against the spread this season despite playing most of their games as favorites.
Boston is also 4-1 straight up following a loss in the 2022-23 campaign. I can’t trust this Clippers team that has lost games to the Orlando Magic, Miami Heat and Utah Jazz recently.
I’m saving the best for last, as this is a trends bettor’s paradise on Monday night.
Dallas is just 4-8-1 against the spread this season as home favorites this season, and the Oklahoma City Thunder are 9-4 against the spread as road dogs.
Not only that, but OKC beat the Mavericks straight up on the road earlier this season.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder are 15-11 against the spread this season, facing a Dallas team that hasn’t been able to cover all season, especially as a favorite.
Unless Luka Doncic goes crazy, I don’t trust Dallas’ offense to cover eight points here.
