Betano launches operations in the Ontario sports betting and iGaming market – Yogonet International

Online sports betting and gaming operator Betano has made its official debut in the newly regulated market of Ontario, Canada, marking the first launch in North America for the company and its parent brand, Kaizen Gaming
Rolling out a portfolio of over 30 sports and more than 1,000 casino games, Betano is geared to offer “a superior gaming experience to customers” across the province of Ontario, according to the brand.

Julio Iglesias Hernando, Chief Commercial Officer for Kaizen Gaming, commented in a press release: “We are excited to enter a new market, but also a new territory for Betano and Kaizen Gaming.”
“The competition is intense in Ontario, but we are confident that with our solid product offering, backed by our proprietary technology, we will offer a superior sports betting and gaming experience to millions of Canadians,” he added. 
Kaizen Gaming was recently named Operator of the Year at the 2022 edition of the EGR awards, and it currently operates with two brands, Betano and Stoiximan, in 12 markets across Europe and Latin America. 

Betano launched in Ontario during the peak season for all major sport leagues, including NHL, NFL, and NBA and also right before the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which Betano has joined as a Regional Supporter for Europe. 
As part of its partnership with FIFA, Betano will leverage the opportunity to engage football fans around the world during the competition. “We are proud to be the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA on the world’s biggest football event,” said Kaizen Gaming CEO and Co-Founder George Daskalakis at the time.
“This collaboration will bring us one step closer to millions of football fans across the globe,” Daskalakis pointed out. “Our goal is to offer them a responsible sports betting experience of the highest standards, that will increase their engagement with FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”
